Let's face it, there is a reason why statistics for injuries on the Fourth of July are so darn high.
Joking and memes aside, please take your safety seriously this holiday weekend. In a recent article from the LA Times, we read that "The National Safety Council estimated that there would be 385 deaths and 41,200 injuries -- including car crashes, swimming incidents and fireworks accidents -- this Fourth of July. Last year, there were eight deaths and 11,400 injuries from fireworks mishaps alone."
